The Journey Begins

I've had this dream for years now and I'm going to do my best to make it come true.

I've have made scrapbooks for most of my life. The oldest one in existence is captures my senior year in high school and freshman year in college. I am pleased and proud to be able to share a page with my daughter that begins, "I met a guy this weekend at Papers...". This "guy" is her father and our entire courtship is documented and saved.

So back to my dream, I love to scrapbook. I love to turn photos, words and memories into tactile pieces of personal history. I love to watch a person when they look at one my scrapbooks. They read every word, touch the pages; shake their head in affirmation. With some memories, they laugh out loud from times of sweetness or youthful insanity. With others they cry --  sometimes they are tears of joy; other times the tears are for bittersweet remembrance. The emotions and feelings are what I try to recapture.

The process of creating and the act of sharing a project bring me joy. Over the years I've created many scrapbooks. Many have been presented as gifts. Several have been commissioned, customized and sold to wonderful clients. I've taught classes and have had the honor of being published a few times national magazines

Many people have told me I have a talent. My style is simple. I put my heart into every page I create. I read a phrase in Simple Abundance that has stayed with me for years, "I am an Artist of the Every Day". That is the essence of who and what I am.

My dream is to build a business that commissions customized scrapbooks, photo albums and memorabilia. I want to help others capture their special days as well as their every days.

I'd love for you to come along as I attempt to make my dream a reality.

Welcome to remember the time?...!
